11:16 pm
national 45, dulles 40 and 41 for bwi marshall. let's check on some of these numbers. the temperature is dropping like a rock in frederick down to 28 degrees now, manassas 30 degrees, culpeper 34. temperatures are loving right around freezing for winchester and martinsburg. so where these skies are clear and this wind has dropped off tonight the temperatures are really getting cool. annapolis no doubt under the influence of the bay a little bit at 46 degrees. in the city we're under the influence of the city and meet island effect. that keeps our -- heat island effect. that keeps our temperature up for a while. outside the beltway in those suburbs and communities temperatures are really dropping. 37 tonight and 28 to 33 degrees for the suburbs. frederick is already at 28. i suspect frederick will be a little colder. winds will be light under these fair skies, too. next couple days going into the weekend not bad, 54 tomorrow. it looks like tomorrow is
11:17 pm
pretty much a carbon copy of what we had today. we get into sunday, i think a few more clouds, there's going to be plenty of sunshine, dry and nice. if we do get a few more clouds sunday that, temperature might be just a degree cooler. so again pretty much the same thing for both days. we have clear skies in place now, light winds, all the moisture and cloud cover offshore. a couple clouds are hugging the jersey shore there but again dry. as you go back west all the way back into the central plains, it is gorgeous under a big area of high pressure. i don't foresee any problems sneaking in for the weekend. next week we'll have kind of a coastal storm that's trying to get its act together that might try to bring us more clouds monday and tuesday the way it look now. so chilly overnight tonight. notice the numbers in the suburbs down to the upper 20s, lower 30s. i can tell you in the suburbs temperatures will be right at
11:18 pm
freezing and below. fredericksburg right around 34 degrees or so. tomorrow not bad. we'll go 51 in town, a little cooler back out west, fredericksburg 53 degrees or so and then by the bay temperatures will be in the upper 40s. it's a nice weekend. i guess you could say it's a little on the cool side, about we've had worse. sunshine to start, sunshine at noon, sunshine by late afternoon tomorrow. so we're looking good and again temperatures tomorrow will be up into the lower to mid-50s. that's pretty much where we'll stay the next several days. i think as we look at the fox 5 accuweather seven-day forecast, 52 monday, cooler, mostly cloudy. that will be the trend monday, mostly cloudy tuesday, but at this point it still looks like it's dry. we don't have any rain in the seven-day forecast. on wednesday a lot of folks traveling, just some cloud but dry, 55 degrees for a high. right now thanksgiving really looking good with temperatures mid- to upper 50s and loads of sunshine.
